Summary of Job Duties:
This posting will fill multiple positions.The PGY1 Pharmacy Resident is a Post-Graduate training position that works under minimal supervision. PGY1 pharmacy residency programs build on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions eligible for board certification and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training.
The PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident builds on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and PGY1 pharmacy residency programs to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists specialized critical care medicine. PGY2 resident functions independently as practitioners by conceptualizing and integrating accumulated experience and knowledge and incorporating both into the provision of patient care or other advanced practice settings. PGY2 Residents who successfully complete an accredited PGY2 pharmacy residency are prepared for advanced patient care academic or other specialized positions along with board certification.

Minimum Qualifications:
PGY1:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree
Pharmacy Intern License issued by the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy at the start of residency OR Arkansas Pharmacist License - must obtain within 120 days from the start of residency
PGY2:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree PLUS Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 program OR currently enrolled and completing an ASHP-accredited PGY1 program
Pharmacist License issued by the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy
