About Corewell Health Lakeland Retail Pharmacy
Corewell Health Retail Pharmacy at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph is an open-door outpatient pharmacy located at St. Joseph Hospital. While this pharmacy provides traditional outpatient pharmacy services for the community its main purpose is to operate a Discharge Medication Program to collaboratively work across professional disciplines to ensure patients discharging from the hospital leave with their new medications in hand. This is a excellent transition of care opportunity in the outpatient pharmacy setting.

The newly added 22000-square-foot facility in Niles Michigan will have 43 exam rooms and will house both Southwestern Medical Primary Care Niles and Spectrum Health Lakeland Ear Nose and Throat providers. The $7.8 million project is expected to be completed and open to patients March 2023. This facility is a continued investment in our Niles community and the health of those we serve. It houses a range of coordinated health services from diagnostics to primary and specialty care all in one place allowing us to deliver care to a patients whole family right in their community.
of Work Under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist prepares and dispenses outpatient prescriptions. Delivers prescriptions to patients as needed. Triages phone calls and messages from patients and multidisciplinary team members. Able to work in complex pharmacy content areas (nonsterile compounding controlled substance handling inventory management) and work with multiple outpatient pharmacy systems and tools.
