Harborview Medical Centers Family Medicine Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a part-time Registered Nurse (RN).
WORK SCHEDULE
70% FTE 28 hours/weekly
Day Shift 0845 to 1615 (4 x 7.0 hrs); Mon Tue or Thu off
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Harborviews Family Medicine Clinicprovides high-quality comprehensive health care offers personalized medicine that includes preventive care as well as evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. The healthcare professionals are board-certified in family medicine and treat patients of all ages. Family physicians are specialists who complete a residency in family medicine. They receive broad training beyond general medicine in obstetrics gynecology pediatrics internal medicine surgery psychiatry and geriatrics. The Harborview Family Medicine healthcare professionals provide a range of services including those specific to womens health. Other services include pregnancy tests prenatal care family planning well-child exams immunizations hearing and vision screenings psychiatric consultations medication management and recommendations for continued psychiatric care.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess diagnose plan implement and evaluate nursing care; provide direction to staff in learning situations
Direct patients families visitors and staff members in emergencies and complex situations
Initiate and evaluate overall care plan; involve patients and their families in care planning; initiate consultations and/or referrals and discharge planning
May function as a primary nurse in delivery of patient care
Assessment and nursing diagnosis of patients care planning implementation of safe nursing care evaluation of patient responses to nursing care patient education patient advocacy discharge and transfer planning
REQUIREMENTS
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
At least two years of experience working as an RN OB/GYN experience preferred
