Job Summary
The Trainer III Epic Analytics serves as the Cosmos and Cogito Principal Trainer leading the design and delivery of analytics training across Mount Sinai Health System. This role combines deep Epic analytics expertise with strong curriculum design handson training delivery and enduser enablement.
The trainer will support Cosmos and Cogito Epic reporting tools working closely with analytics teams operational partners and clinical service lines to mature a scalable selfservice analytics training program
Responsibilities
1. Plans and administers training and orientation programs for end user personnel.
2. Coordinates course development and/or procurement of outside training sources.
3. Develop and maintain training environments.
processes for the successful delivery of training by multiple training analysts.
5. Directs the scheduling of courses and coordination of enrollments.
6. Evaluates effectiveness of training courses and sources of training.
7. Prepares reports to management on training effectiveness.
8. Responsible for maintenance of library of training material and index of training sources.
9. Assigns staff to teaching assignments and directs their activities.
10. Reviews evaluates and prepares periodic performance reports of own staff.
11. Prepares activity and progress reports regarding the activities of the Training section.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor degree
Experience:
- Six years of experience in a training environment or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Epic Cogito Principal Trainer certification required
- Epic Training Environment Build experience/certification preferred
- Experience designing role based or service line specific analytics training
- Experience supporting citizen developers or advanced analytics users
- Epic training and analytics environments (Userweb Hyperspace SlicerDicer Cosmos Portal)
