Maintenance Supervisor
Job Summary
We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. Based in Sorocaba Brazil you will be responsible for overseeing predictive preventive and corrective maintenance in the areas of mechanics electrical electronics instrumentation and services preserving and maintaining the regular and efficient operation of machines equipment tools and facilities of the manufacturing unit ensuring greater production availability at appropriate costs in accordance with specifications and technical standards quality safety and environmental standards and pre-established procedures.
1. Manage and control the execution of industrial automation services being responsible for the installation correction and electronic retrofit of equipment.
2. Manage and control the execution of electrical and electronic maintenance services predictive preventive and corrective on machines equipment devices circuits and other installations in accordance with specifications standards and technical procedures quality safety and environmental standards.
3. Monitor the installation of equipment and/or devices evaluating the environment and technical conditions as well as the calibration and simulation of tests under diverse conditions certifying the quality of the work. 4. Develop predictive and preventive maintenance programs establishing maintenance items arising from periodic inspections routine plans or various requests using scheduling and workforce sizing techniques considering internal resources and/or contracting specialized services aiming to reduce costs associated with unscheduled downtime.
5. Participate in the development execution and inspection of machine and equipment installation projects as well as provide technical assistance regarding materials accessories devices and various components in the incorporation of new technologies.
6. Provide technical guidance to maintenance team professionals and third-party personnel in the performance of services aiming to comply with occupational safety standards technical specifications quality deadlines and costs as well as providing the necessary materials and supplies for conducting services in order to guarantee efficiency rationalization and quality standards.
7. Contact suppliers of maintenance services and materials in order to establish new supply alternatives. 8. Maintain up-to-date documentation and technical reports with opinions and suggestions on the efficiency and durability of equipment to support various studies.
9. Prepare reports detailing data and technical information obtained from inspections and assessments of relevant facts contributing to the improvement of equipment and its productivity.
10. Ensure that all machines and equipment are installed modified and maintained in accordance with the risk assessment procedure and the companys HSE legal and technical requirements to prevent or reduce health and safety risks and environmental impacts;
11. Act immediately when informed of any deficiencies creating unsafe and unhealthy situations and/or risks to the environment;
12. Support HSE and operations management in listing all machines/equipment/provisions that must be periodically checked from an HSE perspective;
Who are we looking for
We are looking for a professional with the following skills and motivations:
Bachelors degree Electrical Electronic Control and Automation Engineering or similar fields
SAP system (PM module Requisitions costs etc.)
Technician or technologist in the area of Electrical or Electronic Maintenance.
Advanced knowledge in Industrial Automation (Siemens and Rockwell equipment)
English (Intermediate level) and Spanish (desirable)
Advanced Office Suite
Experience in team management
Good communication skills
