Job Description
We are looking for an ambitious and talented Senior Validation Engineer / Senior QA Engineer who wants to advance his or her career. Be part of a small engineering team which is developing PCIe CXL and NVMe protocol analyzers. The candidate should be open-minded be a quick learner and able to understand and test complex systems.
Engineering teams around the globe use our systems to develop next-generation communication consumer electronics and computer products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Invent design and execute test coverage for PCIe CXL and NVMe protocol analyzers: System level testing of new hardware firmware and software
- Work closely with project team members (hardware software firmware support and test engineers). Work with team members around the globe.
- Create automated tests (any script or programming language)
- Drive quality improvement plans and provide reports to management
- Reproduce customer reported issues and follow up with team members as needed
Educational Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science (CS) Computer Engineering (CE) Electronics Engineering (EE) or Instrumentation
Experience Training Skills etc.
- 6 8 years of experience in system level testing of a complex product or system. Previous experience should include hardware firmware and software testing (please no GUI or website only testing).
- Experience with designing test coverage based on a specification
- Test automation and API testing: Programming or scripting experience
- Team Player good interpersonal organizational and communication skills detail oriented and persistent when necessary ability to drive quality issues
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment is essential
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced startup environment: effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Preferred:
(The following qualifications are a plus but not required)
- Experience with testing complex network platforms or servers
- Knowledge of PCIe CXL or NVMe protocol
- Experience using a protocol analyzer
