Were looking for a people-focused Bequests and Foundations Officer to join our team. This is a great role for someone who enjoys building relationships telling meaningful stories and helping secure funding that makes a long-term impact.
Youll work across two key areas: Gifts in Wills (Bequests) and securing funding from Trusts and Foundations.
WHAT YOULL BE DOING;
Bequests (Gifts in Wills):
- Connecting with potential supporters who are interested in leaving a lasting legacy
- Helping to grow our Gifts in Wills program
- Supporting campaigns stewardship and communications around Bequests
- Liaising with families and legal contacts when needed
Trusts & Foundations:
- Sourcing and applying for Foundation/Trust funding
- Writing clear compelling funding applications
- Keeping track of reporting and outcomes
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with funders
Other Duties As Required:
- Keeping donor records up to date
- Working with the broader team on fundraising ideas
- Helping us grow sustainable long-term income
- Occasional event support as part of the wider Marketing team
ABOUT YOU;
Ideally you will bring:
- Experience in fundraising grants communications or similar
- Strong writing skills (you can turn ideas into clear engaging content)
- Confidence building relationships with different people
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- A genuine interest in making a difference
- Experience with Bequests knowledge of non-profit and familiarity with donor databases (nice to have but not essential)
