- 4% salary increase effective 20 April (EB Agreement)

What we are looking for:
Were looking for Casual Visitor Service Officers to join our teams based at Gatakers Art Space Story Bank and Bond Store. Fantastic opportunities to work in warm welcoming environments with engaged members of our communities.
What your day will look like:
- Greeting and welcoming visitors and responding to queries in a friendly and positive manner
- Providing informative and engaging information to visitors on exhibitions displays and public programs
- Assisting with event and activity set up and pack down working closely with other team members and volunteers
- Supporting daily opening and closing procedures including cash handling and daily reconciliations
- Occasional weekend work supporting events and exhibitions

What youll need for success:
- A positive welcoming manner in engaging with the public learnt from experience in a customer service or sales position
- A genuine interest in gallery and museum operations and a sound knowledge of the regions arts community and local history
- Strong teamwork and organisational skills
- Working with Children Blue Card
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification or the ability to obtain
Whats nice to have:
- Experience in cultural museum or gallery environments
- Experience working with volunteers
