Join Barrows as a Junior Product Designer!

Are you a creative problem-solver with a passion for the retail environment Barrows is looking for a talented Junior Product Designer to join our team and help us deliver excellence in design integrity and shopper-centric solutions.

In this role youll be at the heart of our creative process generating concepts that drive revenue and production opportunities while staying on strategy and within budget.

What Youll Do:

Concept Generation: Visualize innovative solutions for client presentations using both digital and analogue sketching.
Strategic Research: Stay ahead of market trends and competitor behavior to inform design decisions.
CAD Modeling & Visualization: Utilize CREO for detailed modeling and 3D Studio Max to create high-polished captivating renderings.
Collaborate & Communicate: Work alongside Art Directors Sales and Engineering teams to ensure seamless project handovers and technical manufacturability.
Real-World Application: Conduct regular trade visits to gain insights and understand the physical challenges of the retail environment.

What Were Looking For:

Education: Bachelors degree in Industrial Design or equivalent experience.
Experience: 0-2 years in a similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing 3D visualization and rendering skills.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CREO and 3D Studio Max is essential.
Mindset: A proactive hard-working team player who is adaptable to change and has a high level of emotional intelligence.
Communication: Ability to clearly communicate complex creative concepts and effectively present ideas to stakeholders.
