We are seeking a Digital Designer (UX/UI) to support a high-priority large-scale digital transformation programme. This role will play a key part in the evolution of a large content-rich global website working within an established design system and CMS environment (AEM). This role focuses on delivering clear effective user experiences and high-quality visual outputs within a structured component-based framework.
Working closely with the Creative Lead and broader programme team you will translate complex business and product requirements into intuitive visually engaging digital experiences across multiple site sections. This role requires a highly hands-on designer who can operate with autonomy balance strong UX thinking with excellent UI execution and deliver high-quality work at pace.
What you will do:
- Own the delivery of UX/UI design across key website experiences aligned to established design systems and brand guidelines
- Translate complex business and product requirements into clear user journeys wireframes and high-fidelity designs
- Create clean modern page layouts for the refined website.
- Design visual elements such as icons banners graphics and imagery for use across the site.
- Develop consistent styles for colours typography spacing and components.
- Turn wireframes or content outlines into polished visually appealing page designs.
- Ensure all designs follow brand guidelines and feel cohesive across the whole site.
- Prepare final design assets in web ready formats for the development team.
- Work with developers to ensure the design looks correct once built.
- Simplify complex information into clear easy to read visual layouts.
Qualifications :
- Operating at a mid level in UX/UI or digital product design with a strong portfolio of complex web or platform work.
- Proven ability to own design workstreams end-to-end in fast-paced multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong experience working within design systems and component-based design frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience designing for large-scale CMS-driven websites or digital platforms (AEM preferred).
- Strong UX thinking combined with excellent UI craft (layout typography hierarchy).
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product engineering and creative.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within phased or agile delivery environments.
- Proficiency in Figma (essential) and standard digital design tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality scalable design.
