Runner

POSITION SUMMARY: The purpose of the position of a busser/runner is to assist the bartender service staff and managers before during and after service. They are to provide all our guests with a positive experience and to maintain a high level of sanitation and cleanliness.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

The following are intended as basic requirements. Success will come to the individual that is able to expand upon these job requirements. These requirements may change over the course of employment.

• Arrive to work on time for shift. Maintain availability consistent with business needs including nights weekends holidays and special events.
• Ensure that dining room table configuration is set to standards.
• Ensure food presentation is up to par before serving it.
• Ensure food is delivered on time to any seated guests in the restaurant.
• Carry dirty dishes utensils and the like from dining room patio and/or bar to kitchen.
• Wipe table tops and chairs with damp sanitized cloth.
• Set tables with silverware and glassware and required napkins.
• Replenish supply of clean napkins silverware glassware and dishes in dining room.
• Clean up spilled food drink and broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash.
• Run food from kitchen to restaurant as needed.
• Complete side work duties.
• Assist wait staff as needed.
• Maintain clean dining room floor and seating areas.
• Must be in full uniform and ready to work before clocking in. Employees who arrive out of uniform and not meeting appearance standards may be sent home or required to correct the issue before starting the shift.
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing sinks surfaces high touch areas chairs every 30 minutes or as directed Must be knowledgeable in all menu items.
• Provide courteous service to our guests and be cordial to all Team Members to be able to work as a team.

• Lifts and transports service trays weighing up to 40 lbs. from kitchen to dining room
• Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
• Attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
• Promptly report all maintenance issues.
• Service oriented must have a professional attitude you will be dealing with high-end customers.
• Must inform management before leaving on break and before the end of every shift.
• Service-oriented and must follow our core values.
• Complete and maintain all required alcohol-service certifications (e.g. responsible vendor training) if applicable.
• Responsible for all opening and closing procedures.
