Managers are VAT experts who develop and implement strategies to support their clients in complying with VAT legislation. They lead and manage multiple operations within the VAT practice area and are responsible for delivering high-quality VAT services that enhance the firms reputation.
The role requires strong client-facing skills and the ability to engage with tax authorities across multiple jurisdictions as well as the technical VAT expertise to deliver services to clients in various countries worldwide.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a global understanding of the clients business and processes to ensure VAT compliance is completed efficiently and declarations and supporting documents are submitted within the appropriate deadlines.
- Deliver a full range of VAT services in compliance with applicable laws and regulations within established timeframes.
- Manage client files and identify and mitigate VAT risks.
- Build strong relationships and interact with clients to provide high-quality planning consulting and VAT expertise.
- Oversee responses to information requests and audits conducted by tax authorities on behalf of clients.
- Support businesses and individuals in developing VAT strategies and preparing for future financial requirements.
- Define goals and deadlines for the teams work ensuring clarity on priorities and deliverables.
- Coordinate multiple client teams and plan organize allocate and monitor work effectively.
- Lead team members to meet organizational expectations for productivity quality and goal achievement.
- Provide training and guidance to senior team members.
- Drive improvements in departmental procedures and oversee development projects.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Law Management Economics or other related fields.
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is required. Additional languages will be considered an asset during the recruitment process.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in a multinational company or environment.
Computer Skills:
- To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Internet navigation and research.
