Location: Elmhurst IL (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract 13 Weeks (Potential for Extension or Permanent Hire)
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to support facility cleanliness and operational efficiency. This role is critical in maintaining a safe hygienic and organized environment while supporting daily operations and staff needs.
Responsibilities
Cleaning & Sanitation
- Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of carts delivery trucks and facility areas
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control
Facility Maintenance
- Ensure cleanliness of floors surfaces and common areas
- Maintain a clean organized and professional environment
Inventory & Supply Management
- Monitor manage and restock SPD materials dry goods and paper supplies
- Ensure availability of supplies to support uninterrupted operations
Operational Support
- Support technicians and staff by ensuring necessary materials and equipment are readily available
- Assist with day-to-day facility operations as needed
General Upkeep
- Take ownership of facility cleanliness and organization
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and cleanliness standards
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience preferred
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Positive attitude with a proactive can-do mindset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Adaptability in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a healthcare or similar environment
- Familiarity with sanitation and infection control practices
