Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a crossfunctional Operations Transformation Initiative focused on optimizing cost processes and operating models across the organization. This role will drive programs that handle sensitive employee financial and operational data assess current spend identify optimization opportunities and oversee implementation of initiatives that deliver measurable value.
You will partner closely with Finance HR Operations Technology and senior executive leadershipto design and execute a multiworkstream roadmap ensuring that all changes are secure compliant datadriven and businessaligned.
- Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership & Governance (depends on the client alignment and overall team construct)
- Own endtoend delivery of the Operations Transformation program from discovery and business case through implementation and benefits realization.
- Define program scope objectives success metrics timelines and governance structure in alignment with executive sponsors.
- Establish and run steering committees working groups and PMO routines (status reports RAID logs decision tracking).
- Cost & Spend Assessment
- Lead structured assessments of operating expenditure (Opex) and relevant Capex including FTEs vendor spend headcount processes and systems.
- Consolidate and analyze financial data to identify cost drivers inefficiencies and optimization opportunities (e.g. process redesign automation vendor consolidation demand management).
- Build business cases including ROI payback and TCO comparisons to prioritize initiatives.
- Operations & Process Optimization
- Map currentstate processes across key functions; identify pain points bottlenecks manual work and control gaps.
- Design futurestate processes and operating models that improve efficiency quality control and employee experience.
- Partner with functional leaders to implement changes (process reengineering automation policy changes technology enhancements) and track benefits.
- Data Risk & Compliance Management
- Oversee initiatives involving sensitive employee and financial data ensuring robust controls access management and compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.
- Work closely with InfoSec Legal HR and Finance to define and enforce datahandling standards privacy and retention requirements.
- Ensure program risks and dependencies (especially related to data privacy change impacts and financial reporting) are identified monitored and mitigated.
Technical Skills
- Stakeholder Management & Change Enablement
- Serve as a primary point of contact for senior stakeholders translating strategy into actionable workstreams and maintaining clear transparent communication.
- Align crossfunctional teams (Finance HR Operations Technology Procurement) around common goals and milestones.
- Develop and execute changemanagement plans including communications training and adoption strategies to ensure sustainable outcomes.
- Measurement & Reporting
- Define KPIs and OKRs for the transformation program (cost savings process efficiency SLA improvements control enhancements).
- Build dashboards and reporting routines to track progress highlight risks and communicate outcomes to leadership.
- Ensure benefits are quantified validated with Finance and formally captured as part of ongoing performance management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Engineering Operations or related field; MBA or relevant masters degree preferred.
- 8 years of experience in program/project management operations transformation management consulting or strategy roles.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex crossfunctional programs involving financial optimization process redesign or operating model change.
- Strong comfort working with sensitive employee and financial data including an understanding of confidentiality access controls and compliance implications.
- Proven track record in cost/spend analysis business case development and benefits tracking.
- Strong knowledge of program management methodologies (Agile hybrid or waterfall) and PMO best practices.
Nice-to-have skills
- Preferred Experience & Skills
- Experience in Pharma and Life Sciences domain with understanding of regulatory and compliance context.
- Familiarity with analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Excel/Sheets at an advanced level Power BI/Tableau) to interpret data and communicate insights.
- Exposure to process improvement frameworks (Lean Six Sigma) and automation/technologyenabled optimization (RPA workflow tools ERP/HRIS/financial systems).
- Excellent communication and executivestorytelling skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisionmaking.
- Strong problemsolving mindset ability to operate in ambiguity and a handson ownershiporiented approach.

- 13-15 years of work experience in relevant field
- or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
