Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented AM Dispatcher to support our special needs school bus operations. This role ensures safe on-time transportation for students by coordinating drivers monitoring routes and communicating with schools and families during morning service.
Pay: $25.00/hr
Schedule: Full-Time 10:00AM - 6:00PM
Responsibilities:
Oversee morning routes to ensure on-time performance and full coverage
Communicate with drivers attendants schools and parents regarding delays or issues
Assign spare drivers and adjust routes as needed in real time
Support drivers with directions student needs and problem-solving
Respond quickly to service disruptions and escalate when necessary
Maintain accurate logs of delays incidents and route activity
Qualifications:
Dispatch transportation or logistics experience preferred
School bus or special needs transportation experience a plus
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Ability to stay calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills (email routing/GPS systems)
