We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Financial Operations Manager.
Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to ensure the timely and accurate processing recording reconciliation and reporting of HIIB transactions in accordance with HSBC reporting standards.
Jobholder also ensures compliance with the reporting requirements of external regulatory bodies such as (but not limited to) Insurance Commission Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Securities and Exchange Commission etc.
Principal Accountabilities:
Impact on the Business
- Management of HIIB subsidiary ledger which includes monitoring of outstanding items in Premiums Payable Clients Receivable Commissions Receivable Commissions Received in Advance Output VAT and Tax Recoverable accounts Cash in Bank (Clients money and OWN accounts
- Safeguard the company from potential losses
- Ensure the integrity of the balance sheet and profit and loss statements
Customers / Stakeholders
- Coordinate the preparation of audited financial statements and compliance with audit recommendations
Leadership & Teamwork
- Maintains high standard of work synergy with sales and internal customers in ensuring smooth exchanges of client information
- Promotes a culture of sales service operational excellence and compliance among staff
Operational Effectiveness & Control
- Ensures compliance with reporting requirements of FIN and local regulators
Experience Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 5 years related work experience
- Graduate of BS Accountancy
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Understanding of regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band level than stated above.
