Gibela stands as Africas largest train manufacturing and passenger trains maintenance company holding steadfast to its commitment to spearheading the revival of the South African railway sector. With a transformative vision Gibela endeavoured to catalyse the shift towards commuter rail as the preferred mode of transport for urban communities.
We invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for a 24 months Graduate Programme under Services. The position will report to Material Planner Manager and is based at Midrand.
Job Purpose | The programme offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills in the transport rail manufacturing industry. Participants will experience a dynamic and challenging work environment collaborating with various teams across the organization. The role includes servicing and maintaining highquality products as well as supporting the monitoring of compliance with Gibelas requirements and standards. |
Key Responsibilities | - Supply the project with materials and parts necessary to complete the maintenance of trains and projects and help achieve the customers expected OTIF
- Uses the SAP GSI system relating to Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP)/Material Master/Transfer of Materials & purchases pre-sourced Materials
- Supports the businesses by ensuring the correct stocks are maintained at each location

Minimum Requirements | - Supply Chain or Logistics/Engineering related Degree
- Excellent communicate skills in English
- No previous work experience
- South African citizen between 18 and 35 years of age
- Excellent communicate skills in English
- MS Office literate

- Reliable efficient self-reliant and flexible
- Positive outlook driven and passionate
