Spanish/French Teacher (0.5 FTE Grades 6-8) Needed

Location: Williston Central School

Williston Central School (WCS)has an openingfor amiddle levelgrade Spanish and/or French teacher. We are seeking a dynamic energetic collegial and innovative professional to join our middle-level education team.

Qualifications and Expertise:

Licensed in Vermont for K-12 Spanish and French with demonstrated fluency in reading writing and speaking
A team player who is flexible and collaborative
Strong background in planning implementing and assessing a standards-based curriculum
Thorough knowledge of the ACTFL National Standards
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to motivate each student to cultivate an appreciation for the learning of a world language and the cultures of the peoples who speak them
Desire to effectively integrate 21st-century technology into the world language classroom
