Job Summary
This is how you WOW:
Uses power tools to solder weld drill and attach parts
Makes sure that workstation and equipment are clean and free of hazardous materials
Assembles product parts by hand
Determines method of shipment; assembles wooden or cardboard containers or preassembled containers; stamps stencils or glues identifying information and shipping instructions on crates or containers
Keeps work area floor clean
Unloads organizes and stocks shipments
Adheres to all safety guidelines dictation the production and handling of materials in the warehouse
Ensures that all production deadlines are met
Reports issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor
Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft office)
Transfer product using MRP systems
Report KPIs

Education:
High school diploma or GED is required or (6) or more months of relevant experience
Experience:
One or more years of related experience is required.
Production and Warehouse experience preferred including experience with cross-functional teams.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Can identify problems or malfunctions with machinery and equipment.
Demonstrates analytical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to troubleshoot production issues.
Exhibits ability to work cautiously but efficiently in potentially hazardous conditions.
Is familiar with all factory safety procedures and guidelines.
Demonstrates ability to use power tools safely and effectively.
Works efficiently and manages time effectively.
Intermediate knowledge of SAP and Koerber One WMS systems with the ability to run and create reports on the status of open work and pending Value-Add orders is preferred.
Possesses physical strength and stamina required to stand walk and lift for long periods of time.
Possesses physical dexterity necessary to assemble small and delicate product parts
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals; Ability to compute rate ratio and percent.
Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written oral or diagram form Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Able to lift 100 pounds.
Able to perform tasks that include lifting standing and bending for up to 10 hours daily.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Standard 40-hour workweek applies; Overtime and weekend hours could be possible
Working hours will be spent in the warehouse environment
Moderate to heavy physical activity such as walking and lifting is required on a daily basis
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; and vibration.
