Location: 4200 B Pleasant Valley Rd. Chantilly VA 20151
Days: Monday to Friday and Saturday
Hours: 10:00am - 6:30pm; Monday to Friday and 2:00pm - 10:00pm; Saturday

Flexibility is required with Shift

This job description is based on an evaluation of the position at the time the description was written. In this role you will:

• Print client requisitions as required.

• Print labels for the Lab as needed.

• Maintain check of vehicle emergency equipment flash lights spill kits etc. on all company vehicles.

• Assure that State inspections license tags and insurance cards are kept current on all company vehicles.

• Records and submits weekly mileage to Supervisor/Director.

• Assists Supervisor/Director in care and maintenance schedule of vehicles.

• Must be available for assistance with vehicle retrieval for break downs or accidents.

• Cover for Dispatcher (day and evening).

• Set up routes in Road Net as needed.

• Specimen pick- ups or route coverage as needed.

• Perform ride a longs with couriers.

• Maintain and update routes as needed both manual and Road Net.

• Add stops and build new accounts in Road Net.

• Assign couriers routes in Road Net.

• Assist in Road Net trouble shooting/issues.

• Weekly Courier schedule.

• Assists with Courier training.

• Assists with Road Net (phone) training.

• Assists with Media Lab.

• Assists and supports the management in accomplishing the goals and objectives of the Department.

• Accepts extra duties/assignments.

• Fill in as needed for courier:

• Delivers mail and supplies to clients as needed.

• Ensures couriers deliver mail requisitions and supplies in a timely manner.

• Picks up specimens from clients as required.

• Responsible to cover routes for couriers as needed.

• Maintains integrity of specimens by using proper storage containers; including ice packs dry ice vehicles at all times.

• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles.

• Assures that vehicles safety equipment is working/schedules repairs.

• Maintain daily routine of the department and adjust assignments as necessary.

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• one year of professional driving experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Prior computer smart phone and GPS knowledge.

• Current valid drivers license and clean driving record

• Excellent knowledge of VA/ NVA/DC/MD/WV

• Exceptional communication skills
