This is not a support role or a ticket-queue assignment. You will be embedded in our Enterprise App Development team in Plymouth MI working on production software that supports Stewarts title operations nationwide. Youll own a meaningful piece of work from kickoff through delivery with mentorship from senior engineers and direct exposure to real design and architectural decisions. Depending on your assignment you may be working on our modern cloud-native platform or our established on-premises enterprise platformboth are in active production and both have real engineering challenges worth solving.

What Youll Do

• Own a scoped engineering project with defined deliverables and real business valueyour work ships
• Write production-quality code in a large real-world enterprise application used by customers across the country
• Work directly with dev leads and senior engineers through code reviews design discussions and pair programming
• Use modern AI development tools (Claude GitHub Copilot) as a natural part of your workflow
• Participate in planning sessions stand-ups and sprint ceremonies alongside the full team
• Prototype and iterate on featuresexpect to build get feedback and refine not just execute a spec

What You Bring

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
• Completed coursework in both data structures and algorithms (combined or separate courses)
• Be able to fulfill the duties of the role in a full-time in-person environment for the duration of your internship located in Plymouth MI
• Strong programming fundamentalswe care far more about how you think and solve problems than which language you know best
• Self-motivated and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy; you dont need someone looking over your shoulder to stay on track
• Genuine excitement about building something that mattersyou want to see your work running in production not sitting in a repo
• Curiosity about AI-assisted development and an interest in how LLMs are changing the way software gets built
• Be open and available to travel to Houston TX throughout the program as the program demands (travel to be paid for by Stewart)
• Be eligible to legally work in the country in which you are applying without company sponsorship or time restriction
