Job Summary

Do you want to help create safe forwardthinking and inclusive workplaces Join us in Hjørring and play a key role in shaping the health & safety culture at a production site supplying lifechanging pen needles to people living with chronic diseases. Your new role

As Health & Safety Professional you will strengthen and develop the HS culture across the Needle Manufacturing & New Product Introduction (NMN) site. You will collaborate closely with the HS Partner and HS representatives to support both daytoday operations and longterm development projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving continuous improvements and supporting HS initiatives across departments.
  • Providing clear health & safety guidance in both operational tasks and development projects.
  • Identifying and resolving HS-related issues in collaboration with colleagues and leaders.
  • Supporting compliance with Danish HS legislation and tasks related to ISO 45001.
  • Proactively identifying practical solutions that improve safety and strengthen HS performance.

The position is based in Hjørring and onsite presence is required. the position is 1 year temporary

Your new department

You will join the Business Support department home to experts within Quality LEAN Strategy and EHS who together drive the sites overall direction. We are part of Needle Manufacturing & NPI which produces Novo Nordisks pen needles across six departments and approximately 350 dedicated employees. Our culture is built on quality collaboration and a strong commitment to improving the lives of patients.

Your skills and qualifications

To succeed in this role you bring:

  • A bachelors or masters degree within a relevant field.
  • Strong experience from a similar role within industries with high health & safety standards and ambitions.
  • Thorough knowledge of Danish health & safety legislation and handson experience with ISO 45001.
  • Experience with or knowledge of ISO 14001 is considered an advantage.
  • A proactive and curious mindset with the confidence to challenge existing practices in a constructive manner.
  • Strong communication skills in both Danish and English with the ability to collaborate effectively across roles and functions.

You can translate HS requirements into practical actions and enjoy supporting colleagues in creating safe efficient ways of working. You are structured adaptable and motivated by fostering a strong safety culture where everyone feels responsible for wellbeing and safe behaviour.

About Company

You will be part of the Gulf Cluster sales team based in Qatar. You will report to the Country Sales Manager. The local team consists of approx 10 employees, and has highly-engaged and experienced members that are looking for a new teammember.
