Senior Business Analyst – Healthcare Information Systems

Profile Overview

Senior Business Analyst Healthcare Information Systems is a critical client-facing role focused on the analysis and implementation of healthcare IT solutions. This position leverages a strong clinical background and in-depth understanding of local and EU healthcare regulatory requirements to guide business requirement studies ensure compliance and deliver effective systems tailored to clinical and administrative needs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead comprehensive business requirement studies with healthcare clients ensuring all stakeholder needs are understood and documented.

Engage directly with clients including clinical and administrative teams to facilitate requirements gathering and solution design.

Ensure all systems and processes comply with relevant local and EU healthcare regulations including data protection and clinical safety standards.

Analyze existing healthcare information systems and identify opportunities for improvement optimization or regulatory alignment.

Prepare clear documentation of business requirements process flows and regulatory considerations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Collaborate with IT compliance and clinical teams to translate business needs into actionable system specifications.

Support project delivery including user acceptance testing and post-implementation review to confirm solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.

Assist project manager on project planning and scheduling.

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated experience working with healthcare information systems in a hospital clinical or public health environment.

Good knowledge of local and EU healthcare regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR MDR local health authority requirements).

Proven ability to lead business analysis activities with multidisciplinary teams and external clients.

Skills and Competencies

Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex clinical workflows and regulatory requirements.

Exceptional communication abilities both verbal and written to interact with diverse stakeholders.

Demonstrated leadership in facilitating workshops meetings and requirement-gathering sessions.

Expertise in healthcare regulatory compliance including data privacy patient safety and clinical governance.

Proficiency in documentation process mapping and business analysis tools.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic healthcare setting.
