Job Summary
Position: Shipping Manager/ Logistic Manager
Salary up to RM10000
Location: Pontian Johor.
Job Descriptions:
- Handling export shipment and on time delivery arrangement shipping process.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our shipping processes.
- Negotiating the price of shipment transportation with carriers.
- Keeping shipping operations within budget without compromising speed or efficiency and control budget of the shipping department.
- Processing shipment documentation and inspecting completed orders.
- Creating and implementing shipping policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with internal departments to optimize the flow of orders from preparation to shipment.
- Documenting processes and reporting to management as required.
- Resolve issues regarding shipped orders.
- Evaluating carrier performance and resolving issues with orders and logistics.
- Monitor and job arrangement to shipping team.
- Complying to shipping industry regulations and company policies.
Job Requirements:
- 3 years working experience as shipping manager.
- Bachelors degree in logistics supply chain management or similar preferred.
- Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
- Experience in using ERP system and preparing shipping documents.
- Good understanding of budgeting and reporting.
- Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Good arrangement shipment process.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem-solving abilities.
