Job Summary
Accounting Senior - Japanese Bilingual Required
Location: Gardena CA (Hybrid 23 days in office)
Employment Type: Full-time Exempt
Salary: $90000 $115000 (DOE)
We are a Japanese accounting firm seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Accounting Senior to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals with 35 years of experience who are looking to grow their career in a collaborative and flexible work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform accounting services for clients including financial reporting and analysis
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
- Handle general ledger reconciliations and month-end/year-end closing
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies
- Communicate with clients regarding financial matters and reporting
- Collaborate with internal team members and support junior staff as needed
Qualifications
- 35 years of accounting experience
(audit public accounting consulting or in-house accounting)
- Experience in public accounting or audit is preferred
- Experience in a Big 4 or similar public accounting firm is highly preferred
- CPA license is not required; however CPA candidates or those with relevant coursework are highly preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills
Language Requirement
- Japanese-English bilingual required
- Native-level Japanese preferred
