Northwest Talent Solutions (NWTS) is partnering with a leading manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Buyer who can strengthen procurement operations optimize supplier relationships and drive cost and efficiency across the supply chain.
This is not a transactional purchasing role.
This position is designed for someone who can analyze influence and improvebalancing supplier performance cost management and operational execution in a fast-moving environment.
What Youll Do
- Process and manage purchase orders requisitions and sourcing activities
- Support supplier selection pricing analysis and cost optimization initiatives
- Develop and implement process improvement plans to enhance response time quality and efficiency
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support customer proposals and sourcing strategies
- Analyze purchasing data to identify trends risks and cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery quality performance and issue resolution
- Support continuous improvement efforts across procurement and supply chain processes

What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain or related field (MBA a plus)
- 25 years of experience in:
- Procurement / Buying
- Supply Chain or Sourcing
- Strong capabilities in:
- Negotiation and vendor management
- Cost analysis and pricing evaluation
- Analytical problem-solving and process improvement
- Proficiency with:
- Procurement systems and tools
- Microsoft Office (Excel reporting analysis)
- Ability to:
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively across internal teams and external suppliers
