Job Summary
Acrisure is seeking a Senior Analyst Compliance to support regulatory reporting internal audit processes and claims data analysis. This role plays a key part in ensuring adherence to state and regulatory requirements while supporting operational excellence across the claims function. The senior compliance analyst will work closely with internal teams and external partners to monitor compliance evaluate claims handling practices and identify opportunities for process improvement. This role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and advanced proficiency in Excel for reporting and data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Support state reporting requirements and ensure compliance with applicable laws regulations and company policies
- Review and audit third party administrator (TPA) claims for accuracy compliance and quality
- Conduct internal quality assurance (QA) claims audits and document findings
- Analyze claims data and reporting metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Prepare review and submit responses to regulatory reporting agencies
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance audit processes and improve operational efficiency
- Assist in evaluating internal controls risk management processes and audit effectiveness
- Support external audits and compliance reviews including preparation of required documentation
- Track audit findings recommendations and corrective actions to completion
- Stay current on regulatory changes and industry trends impacting claims and compliance
- Communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance practices
- Experience supporting audit processes and evaluating internal control systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel
- Strong analytical problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable insights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- 3 or more years of relevant experience in compliance audit or a regulated environment required
- Experience supporting audits in a regulated industry is beneficial
- Working knowledge of financial analysis techniques is beneficial
Education and Licenses
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance insurance or a related field or equivalent experience required
