Purpose
This role will serve as a Manager in the Technology Governance Office assisting the regulatory compliance oversight and reporting function for Global Banking and Markets Engineering (GBME) U.S. This role assists the technology department in complying with regulatory obligations and relevant reporting (e.g. management/risk committees and Board).
Contribute to the overall success of U.S. Technology for Global Banking and Markets by ensuring specific individual goals plans and initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the teams business strategies and objectives.
Ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations internal policies and procedures.
What Youll Do
Supports the IT Regulatory Compliance Oversight and Reporting Senior Manager in advising IT on requirements to comply with regulatory obligations as well as obligation and control mappings
Assist with monthly/quarterly reporting related to regulatory initiatives and topics the department is obligated to report or escalate.
Review content prepared by technology subject manager experts (SME) and offer feedback for improvement prior to committee submission.
Assist in maintaining a calendar of regulatory and IT commitments.
Support the coordination of securing confidential supervisory information (CSI)clearance for contractors including tracking clearance status and maintaining an accurate inventory of CSIcleared resources for management and regulatory reporting
Assist IT teams in adhering to policies frameworks standards and guidelines through active engagement guidance and counseling.
Assist in monitoring changes in relevant regulations and internal policies and proactively communicate updates to impacted IT teams to ensure ongoing awareness and compliance.
Work closely with the Exam and Issue Management team to review compliance with obligations as part of exam readiness/preparation.
Collaborate with technology SMEs and Business Risk Management to ensure regulatory-based controls are adequately documented and maintained reviewing for quality assurance.
Ensure governance is in place during meetings and that decisions are properly minuted. Escalate risks as necessary.
Understand how the Banks risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

What Youll Bring
Proficient in MS-Office productivity applications

Attentive to detail
Candidates should have knowledge or experience (4 years) in one of the following areas:
- Regulatory Compliance (e.g. FFIEC Guidelines NYS DFS FRB NY FINRA)
- Technology (e.g. IT Asset Management Software Currency Cybersecurity scanning)
Bachelors degree in related field required
Demonstratable experience with Regulatory Compliance or Reporting
Experience with IT within a financial institution a plus
Advanced in Excel and PowerPoint presentations
