About the Role
This is a handson technical role where youll design and build smart automated GIS solutions that improve data quality efficiency and delivery outcomes nationwide.
What youll be doing
Developing and maintaining automated GIS tools and workflows to support network design and construction.
Working with spatial datasets construction drawings and QA processes across multiple programs.
Using Python SQL FME and GIS platforms to streamline data transformation and validation.
Collaborating with a highly skilled team to design solutions and continuously improve GIS capability.
What were looking for
Around 5 years experience as a GIS Developer in a professional environment.
Strong capability with QGIS and ESRI ArcGIS products.
Solid Python development skills including GISbased libraries.
Experience working with spatial databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS SQL Server ESRI Geodatabases).
Confidence using FME for automation and data processing.
Nice to have (but not essential):
Experience in telecommunications or utility infrastructure.
Exposure to AWS (S3 Lambda Redshift).
Interest or experience in AI/ML applications for spatial data.
Formal qualification in GIS IT or a related discipline.
