About the opportunity

Lead from the front and shape the future of technology. Were looking for a visionary Chief Engineer to join our team and lead our technical this crucial role youll be our most senior technical expert responsible for driving our engineering strategy fostering a world-class developer experience and championing a culture of innovation. Youll act as the vital link between our architecture delivery and security teams mentoring talented engineers and delivering secure scalable and high-performing solutions that make a real impact (note this role has no direct reports). In this role youll get to

  • Shape and execute our technology roadmap making key decisions that drive our technical vision forward.
  • Mentor and guide our engineering teams promoting a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  • Lead the delivery of critical projects ensuring our systems are secure scalable and built to the highest standards.
  • Champion innovation by exploring and implementing new technologies and best practices across the board.
  • Collaborate closely with product design and business teams to ensure our technology perfectly aligns with our company goals.

What youll bring to the role

  • Extensive experience in a senior technical leadership role (such as Principal engineer Distinguished Engineer) with a natural ability for mentoring teams.
  • Deep technical knowledge and experience in building and managing Cloud Infrastructure at scale in a regulated environment.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in developer tooling and enablement.
  • Deep expertise in designing and building complex scalable and secure systems (think microservices and distributed systems).
  • Advanced skills in multiple programming languages cloud platforms (like AWS) and CI/CD/automation tools.
  • A proven track record of successfully leading the design and delivery of major technical projects from concept to completion.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to make complex technical concepts easy for anyone to understand.
