Compensation for this position starts at $16.00/Hour and with demonstrated experience and qualifications candidates may earn up to $17.50/Hour.
About Your Work Day
- Ensures the guest artist contract elements are met.
- Responsible for identifying and preparing advance work such as travel and schedule itineraries.
- Handles all related office work including drafting introduction remarks updating ArtsVision calendar and receptionist duties.
- Prepares welcome packets which include schedule and logistic details.
- Communicates with guest artist manager(s).
- Is a familiar face for the guest artist; assists the guest artists backstage as needed.
- Resolves last minute issue that arise like hospitality meals transportation etc.
- May be asked to attend rehearsals and performances as a representatives of the Artistic Staff.

About Your Schedule
Chautauqua Institution and Chautauqua Hotel Company offer flexible schedules full and part-time for seasonal employment during summer operations starting annually each June and concluding in August. Seasonal employment may be available earlier (pre-season) and beyond season (post-season) based on business needs and candidate availability. Schedules typically include evenings weekends and/or holidays as a requirement. While you will confirm your final schedule with management at the time of an interview and offer of employment you should generally anticipate the following schedule options for this position:
Will be scheduled to work an average of 40-hours/week. Scheduled hours will include evenings weekends and holidays based on the guest artist and event business needs.
