If you are a Flow Business Development Manager (BDM) professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career: this role offers the chance to drive sustainable growth across the Nordics by identifying creating and advancing new customer opportunities within Emersons flow solutions portfolio (Coriolis Mag & Vortex DP flow and USM) . Working in close partnership with account managers and crossfunctional teams you will engage customer stakeholders to understand their challenges shape valuebased solutions and independently lead opportunities from early discovery through successful order placement. This is a highly visible role with strong impact on customers market positioning and Emersons continued growth in the region. To support collaboration and travel across the Nordics this role is ideally based within reasonable access to an international airport.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Identify create and pursue new business opportunities for assigned flow products and solutions working both independently and collaboratively with account managers.
  • Engage with customer specialists influencers and decisionmakers to understand needs codevelop solution approaches and clearly articulate the value of Emersons offerings.
  • Lead technical and commercial solution discussions supporting the selling process through customer meetings workshops and presentations.
  • Plan and deliver product demonstrations and coordinate customer trials testing and validation activities to demonstrate value and support qualification processes (such as approved vendor lists).
  • Take ownership of opportunity pursuit from initial contact through to successful purchase order maintaining momentum and stakeholder alignment throughout the process.
  • Partner with account managers to drive account development by identifying highimpact actions enabling repeatable sales through shared knowledge references and solution playbooks.
  • Monitor industry trends market dynamics and competitive activity to identify new opportunities and continuously strengthen Emersons market positioning.
  • Capture and share customer feedback to inform product development solution improvements and gotomarket strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of activities opportunities and progress in CRM and related business systems.

For This Role You Will Need:
  • Demonstrated ability to identify shape and advance new business opportunities using a consultative valuebased sales approach.
  • Confidence engaging both technical specialists and business decisionmakers with the ability to lead solutionoriented conversations.
  • Experience supporting or delivering customer demonstrations proofofvalue activities trials or validation processes.
  • Strong opportunity management skills including prioritizing pipeline advancing opportunities through key milestones and independently driving pursuits to closure.
  • Comfort using CRM tools to document activities manage opportunities and support reporting and forecasting.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with account managers and crossfunctional teams across the Nordics.
  • Fluent English communication skills both written and spoken.
  • Additional Nordic language skills (for example Swedish Norwegian Danish or Finnish).
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the Nordics as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience with flowrelated solutions such as flow measurement instrumentation control or broader automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with customer qualification processes including trials validation documentation or vendor approval pathways.
  • Proven success enabling repeatable growth by equipping account teams with scalable assets such as value stories business cases or solution bundles.
  • Knowledge of Nordic market dynamics and customer expectations within relevant industries such as energy utilities marine food & beverage chemicals life sciences pulp & paper or manufacturing.
  • Experience collaborating with application engineering product management or services teams to translate customer needs into compelling solutions.
