Job Summary

Position: Project Controls Specialist
Location: Oshawa ON (Onsite)
Structure: Contract 12 months to start
Pay:$88.00 - $96.00 p/h inc. HST

We have a great new opportunity to support one of our Energy Sector clients in a contract capacity!

Deliverables

Lead and maintain project controls activities including cost baselines resource planning forecasting dashboards and compliance with project control standards.
Produce detailed reporting such as status updates variance analysis earned value metrics and cash flow forecasts to support decision-making.
Manage change control processes including maintaining change logs tracking impacts and recommending corrective actions or recovery plans.
Collaborate with engineering finance procurement and construction teams (including onsite support) to ensure alignment between budgets schedules and execution activities.

Experience Required

810 years of experience in cost control or project controls within engineering construction or infrastructure project environments.
Strong experience performing variance analysis forecasting earned value management and cost/schedule performance reporting.
Experience managing project control structures such as WBS and cost breakdown structures including baseline and budget alignment.
Advanced proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel and project reporting systems.
Degree in engineering construction management or a quantitative discipline with strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
