Job Summary
Solution IT Inc. is looking for a React Native Developer for one of its clients Chicago IL / Hybrid
Job Title: React Native Developer
Responsibilities
- Building and shipping features across iOS and Android from a single TypeScript codebase
- Camera-based workflows: video scanning barcode capture photo analysis
- Offline-first architecture with local caching (AsyncStorage) and background sync
- Integrating with REST APIs (BFF pattern) and third-party SDKs (Auth0 Anthropic Brady printers)
- Native build pipelines: Expo prebuild Xcode archives EAS Build CocoaPods
Required Skills
- 4 years React Native / Expo experience shipping to both iOS and Android
- Comfort with Xcode (signing archiving troubleshooting build errors) and Android Studio TypeScript proficiency
- Experience with TanStack React Query or similar server-state libraries Familiarity with camera/media APIs in React Native
- Practical experience using AI coding agents (Claude Code Cursor Copilot) as part of your daily development workflow - not just prompting but effectively directing agents through
- Multi-step implementation tasks reviewing generated code and iterating efficiently
Nice to have:
- Experience with AI/ML API integration (vision models on-device ML)
- Expo native modules (Swift/Kotlin bridging)
- BLE device communication
- Auth0 or similar OAuth2 flows in mobile apps
Work Site: Chicago IL / Hybrid (3-4 days/week onsite MUST)
