Security Engineer - Data Loss Prevention
Location : Mountain View San Diego Plano Texas. (Hybrid)
Job Overview
The ideal candidate will join a team of motivated & creative security engineers with a passion for solving complex security problems through technology.
We are seeking a Security Engineer to design and implement Data Loss Protection capabilities for complex security use cases identifying bad actor threat behaviors and preventing/reducing malicious behavior within our client platforms ecosystem. You will be on the forefront using and securing with AI technology. You will play a critical role in understanding & identifying security risk and apply strong engineering skills to implement end to end solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and architecture of the projects by creating and maintaining technical documentation technical specifications and test plans.
- Develops deploys and operates security controls from endpoint agents security policies and downstream feeds/reporting.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related area or equivalent relevant experience
- 6 years of Data Loss Prevention ( DLP ) & Privilege Elevation Security Experience.
- Strong Analytical Problem solving and creative mindset
- Experience with using and securing ML/AI is a strong plus.
- Strong experience with industry Security Products ( Netskope Zscaler CrowdStrike CyberArk ) with Python JSON Jira skills and AWS.
- Strong experience with deploying and managing DLP security products.
- Excellent communication skills. Communicates clearly succinctly and persuasively to all levels of employees customers and management
- Strong AWS Solution Automation Experience
- Strong DevOps and SecOps Experience
- Experience with various Software Development Lifecycle Process ( Agile Development SCRUM methodologies. etc.)
