Job Summary

The Laundry Technician provides cleaning for all Wardrobe properties and performs minor alterations as needed for all Sight & Sound productions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent service to all customers including Cast Stage Management Producers Costumes and other team members to help ensure that all laundry needs are met.
- Perform daily laundering ironing minor repairs to show costumes and accessories.
- Return all properties to their designated locations in a timely manner.
- Actively participate in schedule 1 on 1 and departmental team meetings.
Prerequisites:
- Ability to hand sew and operate a sewing machine preferred
- A positive attitude detailed-oriented organized good work ethic and works well as a part of a diverse team
- Ability to work alone with the diligence to accomplish tasks without direct supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills with the desire to serve others
- Ability to make quick decisions while remaining calm positive and professional throughout all work efforts and while under time constraints
Estimated Schedule:
Monday - 5-hour shift flexible start and end time
Tuesday - 6 - 11pm
Wednesday - 6 - 11pm
Thursday - 6 - 11pm
5th day per week could be either Friday @ 10:30pm - 3:30am or Saturday @ 4am - 10am
The estimated weekly hours would be around 25 or 26 hours per week.
