Job Summary
We are looking for a meticulous and driven Senior Accounts Executive to oversee high-level financial reporting and consolidation. This onsite role is designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is capable of managing complex statutory requirements while ensuring the integrity of the groups financial data.
Job Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Facilitate the preparation of comprehensive financial statements and the consolidation of group accounts.
Audit Management: Act as the primary liaison for external auditors to ensure seamless statutory compliance and timely filing of documents.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed accounting records complex reconciliations and necessary supporting schedules.
Corporate Disclosure: Assist in the production of the companys annual report and provide supporting data for regulatory circulars.
Tax & Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to local tax regulations including the preparation of relevant tax schedules.
Performance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and provide management with insights into operational spending.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline internal accounting workflows and enhance the accuracy of financial data.
Special Projects: Undertake ad-hoc financial assignments and management projects as required by the leadership team.
Requirements
Education: Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA CPA MIA) are highly advantageous.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing preferably within a large-scale manufacturing or PLC environment.
Language Skills: Proficiency in written and spoken English Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia is essential to collaborate with regional teams and stakeholders.
Technical Skills: Strong command of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with enterprise-level accounting software.
Soft Skills: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage tight reporting deadlines.
Availability: Must be willing to work in an onsite setting.
