Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Technician (PT Tech) to join our healthcare team in Jackson United States. As a PT Tech you will play a crucial role in supporting our physical therapists and providing exceptional care to our patients.
- Assist physical therapists in delivering patient treatments and therapeutic exercises
- Apply and monitor therapeutic modalities including hot/cold packs
- Maintain and sanitize therapy equipment and treatment areas
- Guide patients through prescribed exercise routines under therapist supervision
- Ensure proper setup and breakdown of treatment areas
- Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to physical therapists
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient care documentation
- Assist with patient scheduling and contribute to efficient clinic workflow
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Demonstrate empathy and support for patients throughout their treatment journey
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy procedures and medical terminology
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Physical stamina to assist patients and stand for extended periods
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Detail-oriented approach to patient care and documentation
- Basic computer proficiency
- Current CPR certification
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements
- Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and clinic demands
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to patient satisfaction
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Additional Information :
Compensation: $22.50/hr
