The Opportunity
We are recruiting a Paralegal (Real Estate / Plot Sales) to join a busy residential property team. This full-time permanent role focuses on managing high-volume plot sales transactions for homebuilder clients.
You will support the full conveyancing lifecycle working closely with colleagues clients and external solicitors to ensure efficient and accurate delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Plot Sales & Conveyancing
Manage new-build plot sales via the case management system
Negotiate and conclude missives
Review title documentation and respond to enquiries
Handle conveyancing for plot sales and part-exchange properties
Draft dispositions and settlement documentation
Compliance & Settlement
Register deeds and complete LBTT submissions
Prepare settlement and cash statements
Instruct payments and maintain time recording
Order searches and reports as required
Systems & Stakeholder Liaison
Work with internal teams to maintain systems and processes
Support post-settlement queries under supervision
Ensure compliance with regulatory and confidentiality standards
Skills & Experience
Essential
Experience in plot sales or residential conveyancing
Strong knowledge of Scottish property law and title examination
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Effective communicator with a proactive approach
Team-oriented
Desirable
Experience with case management systems
Exposure to homebuilder/developer clients
