The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University located in Houston Texas seeks applications for an open rank Teaching Track Professor position with an anticipated start date of July 1 2026. Candidates with strengths in online and hybrid curriculum development that integrate asynchronous and synchronous instructional modalities especially in Digital Health (broadly defined) are strongly encouraged to apply.

The selected candidate will be expected to teach and develop undergraduate and graduate courses within their area of expertise contribute to service at the departmental school and university levels and demonstrate knowledge of or a record of using evidence-based pedagogical practices. This is an open-rank teaching-track appointment and expectations will be commensurate with rank. All candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to high-quality undergraduate instruction effective teaching practices and service.
