Essential Functions:
- Implements and coordinates evidence-based prevention programs in community schools or early care settings to promote positive mental health and prevent behavioral health issues among children.
- Facilitates data collection and assessment to identify children at risk of developing behavioral health issues and monitor program implementation progress. Provides appropriate support through interventions and referrals.
- Collaborates and maintains relationships with school staff caregivers providers and community organizations to provide appropriate resources and support.
- Provides consultation and education on behavioral health topics and prevention strategies.
- Maintains accurate records and documentation of child caregiver and program progress and outcomes.
- Participates in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in behavioral health prevention and intervention.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelors Degree in mental health child development educationor related field required.
- Masters Degree preferred.
Licensure Requirement:
- Appropriate Ohio licensure required.
- Valid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection insurance eligibility driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Experience:
- Experience in early learning or school mental health or in education preferred.
- Behavioral health experience preferred.
- Training and experience with position-specific evidence-based prevention models preferred.
- Experience serving at-risk populations and demographically diverse communities preferred
