Job Summary
The Swiss-based DocMorris AG is a leading company in the fields of online pharmacy telemedicine and marketplace. This combination allows us to offer the markets largest selection of health and personal care products (200000 products and 10000 brands). We are seeking a motivated Legal Intern to support our EU Legal Segment. This role is designed for a proactive law student who thrives in a dynamic setting and is eager to contribute to meaningful projects. Collaborating closely with our Legal Counsel and various business units you will assist in a wide array of legal matters that drive our European operations. For those looking to transition from the classroom to the business this internship offers invaluable insight into in-house legal work.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Project Collaboration: Contributed actionable legal insights to multi-disciplinary project teams gaining deep business acumen within a fast-paced in-house environment.
AI-Enhanced Legal Drafting: Leveraged cutting-edge AI tools to draft internal legal memos and contracts ensuring citation accuracy by validating all AI-generated case law and regulations.
Data Protection & Compliance: Supported GDPR initiatives by maintaining Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and providing support on data protection matters.
Commercial Contract Review: Conduct detailed legal reviews for direct procurement contracts identifying potential risks and ensuring alignment with internal legal standards.
Corporate Secretarial Support: Manage the drafting of corporate minutes and resolutions while coordinating end-to-end notarization and legalization processes for official filings.
Operational Process Management: Optimized and applied legal workflows across the EU segment managing end-to-end communication with business units and authorities to ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited law degree program.
Technical: Proficiency in AI tools
Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish. Catalan would be a plus.
