To provide support to the Warranty Service Programs Leader located in Madrid in managing and expanding the portfolio of the IBERIA region (Spain and Portugal) you will be located in Madrid. We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual as a Senior Underwriter Warranty Service Programs/WSP. The position offers a great opportunity for professional development.

How you will create an impact / Job Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day underwriting and operational support to the Head of WSP ensuring smooth execution of business priorities.

• Actively support the management of renewals including technical assessment pricing reviews and coordination with brokers and partners.

• Oversee the financial performance of accounts including monitoring premium flows profitability and key financial metrics.

• Support financial control of affinity programs ensuring alignment between underwriting guidelines budget and performance.

• Coordinate and maintain oversight of third-party providers including suppliers and TPAs ensuring service levels cost control and operational efficiency.

• Monitor and follow up on service agreements KPIs and SLAs with external providers escalating issues where necessary.

• Ensure accurate documentation reporting and internal communication related to portfolio performance and operational matters.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of underwriting and operational processes within the WSP department.

What youll need to succeed - Job profile

• Relevant insurance experience; ideally with underwriting experience or business experience

• Fluent in English. Very good knowledge of Spanish and English Portuguese is an advantage

• Bachelors Degree in quantitative discipline (actuarial degree or similar also Legal and/or Business Studies will be taken into consideration) preferably with insurance background

• Strong technical analytical and commercial skills as well as skills in interpretation of numbers.

• Self-starter ability to identify problems and implement solutions

• Convincing interpersonal and communication capabilities

• Presentations skills

• Good business understanding combined with high service orientation and responsiveness

• Ability to work in a team and independently and to grasp things quickly

• Very good knowledge of MS Office and affinity for digital platforms. Proficient in MS office applications. Prior experience in using Excel for data analysis is strongly recommended
