OUR HOTEL
Courtyard by Marriott Sheffield is a brand-new 150-bedroom hotel perfectly located between Sheffield and Rotherham. Set within a growing business park and the new Waverley residential development and just 10 minutes from Meadowhall the hotel is ideally placed to attract both corporate and leisure guests.
The hotel features stylish rooms across five floors a fully equipped residents gym one meeting room and an on-site car park. Our all-day Aspen Restaurant & Bar is expected to become a key dining spot in the area.

Take charge of maintaining our hotels high standards ensuring every guest space facility and behind-the-scenes area operates flawlessly and looks pristineHave a proactive and hands-on approach to repairs upgrades and day-to-day operations that support a smooth guest experienceDesign and oversee a preventative maintenance programme extending the life of equipment and facilities to avoid unexpected interruptions and keep everything running like clockworkCollaborate with other departments to anticipate and swiftly address maintenance needs from emergency repairs to room upgrades delivering a reliable and safe environment for guests and staff alikeConduct regular inspections of the hotel keeping your finger on the pulse of each room common area and facility to ensure safety compliance and aesthetic standardsFoster a culture of continuous improvement within the team implementing best practices and encouraging skill development for efficient high-quality serviceKeep up-to-date with the latest tools technology and maintenance techniques to bring fresh ideas and innovations to the property enhancing both function and form
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Solid experience in a maintenance or engineering role ideally within hospitality or a similar settingExpertise in HVAC electrical plumbingpainting grouting mastikand general building maintenance with a proactive approach to problem-solvingStrong leadership skills with a track record of building motivated efficient teams that deliver quality resultsFinancial acumen to manage budgets and negotiate contracts without compromising on quality or guest satisfactionOrganisational and multitasking abilities to juggle a range of responsibilities and respond quickly to urgent issuesFlexibility to respond to urgent repairs including availability for evenings weekends and on-call dutiesA passion for maintaining a safe well-functioning environment that enhances the guest experience
