Job Summary
A wonderful school in Gloucester is seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to join their supportive and high-performing team from September. About the Role:
Lead and coordinate provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
Support teaching staff to implement effective strategies and differentiated learning
Monitor assess and report on student progress providing guidance and feedback
Liaise with parents carers and external professionals to ensure tailored support
Develop and maintain SEN policies practices and resources
Promote inclusion wellbeing and high expectations across the school
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be a qualified teacher with experience in SEND or as a SENCO
Have excellent leadership organisational and communication skills
Be passionate about inclusion student development and wellbeing
Demonstrate the ability to inspire and support colleagues
Work collaboratively to develop innovative strategies and best practice
