Legal Engineer M&A Lawyer Sydney
Job Summary
We are partnering with a well funded fast growth start up with an incredible automation platform powered by AI. This software platform is easily customisable with accuracy and superfast turnaround so can be adapted to any law firms or in house teams internal processes with expedience.
The team are seeking an M&A lawyer to join as a Legal Engineer. The primary objective is to make AI accessible for legal professionals. This involves closely observing client workflows and adapting technology to fit with the Legal Engineer working as a bridge between users and product teams.
The role requires a deep understanding of legal practice in M&A and a focus on identifying and eliminating inefficiencies. As the inaugural Legal Engineer you will be the Product Specialist/ SME in M&A legal process.
You will be eager to apply this experience and your passion for innovation technology and AI in new ways. You are naturally curious and happy to apply this knowledge and ask pertinent questions to understand their specific workflows and uncover bottlenecks pain points to customise requirements.
As the subject matter expert to clients run pilots focus on seamless onboarding and guide the ongoing adoption of the solution. Your role will help drive the adoption utilization and long-term expansion of this incredible new-to-market automation solution powered by AI.
About the Role:
Build trusted long term relationships as the M&A legal SME with law firms.
Manage pilots design tailored onboarding programs for clients and ensure regular cadence engagement and adoption of the platform.
Translate M&A legal workflows into actionable product feedback
Managing onboarding and providing tailored demonstrations.
Translating real-world legal needs into technical requirements.
Facilitating feedback loops with engineers to improve platform accuracy and usability.
Identifying patterns in daily legal tasks to determine which processes can be optimized or automated.
Work closely with BDMs Customer Success Lead and internal product developers and team to maximize platform value customer experience and the renewal process.
About You:
5-8 years PQE in a law firm and / or in house roles.
Deep expertise practicing in M&A law.
Based in Sydney or willing to move to Sydney
Can demonstrate skills and passion for innovation in law.
Ideally exposure in the roll out or adoption of legal tech / AI within legal teams
Can thrive in a start up environment.
Work hybrid from fantastic office near Circular Quay. This role comes with a great salary and share options post probation.
