Job Summary

About the Role

We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator to manage and support IT infrastructure within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability security and performance while supporting day-to-day IT operations.

The ideal candidate will have 3 5 years of IT systems administration experience preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain servers networks and IT systems
Monitor system performance and ensure uptime and reliability
Manage user accounts permissions and access controls
Troubleshoot hardware software and network issues
Maintain system security backups and disaster recovery processes
Support implementation of new systems and upgrades
Collaborate with internal teams to support IT needs
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with IT policies

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in IT Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
3 5 years of IT systems administration experience
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers networking and virtualization
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure AWS)
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
Familiarity with ERP systems and IT infrastructure in manufacturing
Experience with backups disaster recovery and system monitoring tools
