Job Summary
Job Title: Business Analyst - Hybrid
Duration (Contract): 3-12 Months
Client Location: Richmond VA 23219
Location Preference: Hybrid
Job Description:
As a Business Analyst you will support technology and operations initiatives by gathering and analyzing business requirements documenting processes and coordinating closely with business and technical teams. You will ensure clarity of requirements accuracy of documentation and effective communication to support successful delivery of IT projects across multiple program areas in a fast paced collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather analyze and document business and technical requirements.
- Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder meetings.
- Write user stories acceptance criteria and backlog items.
- Create and maintain current state and future state process flows.
- Document workflows SOPs and operational reference materials.
- Track tasks deliverables decisions and dependencies in project tools.
- Support testing efforts and coordinate user acceptance testing activities.
- Assist with change management communications and training materials.
- Maintain dashboards status reports and leadership updates.
- Coordinate communication between business partners IT teams and leadership.
Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:
- Experience in requirements gathering analysis and documentation.
- Strong skills in process mapping and workflow documentation.
- Proficiency with Visio Excel Word PowerPoint and collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with project or workflow tools such as ServiceNow or Azure DevOps.
- Experience supporting IT projects or operational initiatives.
- Strong analytical organizational and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi team dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile or hybrid delivery practices preferred.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
