Job Description:
Role: L3 Network Engineer (Onsite)
1. Key Responsibilities
Design & Implementation
Design implement and optimize LAN/WAN infrastructure for high performance enterprise environments.
Deploy and configure L3/L2 switches routers firewalls WLC SD WAN devices.
Architect and deploy Cisco Nexus (5K/7K/9K) and Cisco ACI environments.
Configure maintain and optimize F5 Load Balancers (LTM/GTM).
Troubleshooting & Support
Handle escalated L3 incidents major outages complex RCA/Corrective actions.
Collaborate with TAC for deep dive troubleshooting.
Security & Compliance
Configure and maintain firewalls ACLs IPSec VPN AAA (RADIUS/TACACS).
Ensure compliance with org or client security standards.
Performance Monitoring
Monitor network performance using:SolarWinds Netbox Cyber Vision NNM ORION
Provide optimization recommendations for latency reduction and efficiency improvements.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed design/implementation/operational documentation.
Mentor junior engineers and deliver knowledge transfer.

Core Networking
Routing: BGP OSPF EIGRP
Switching: VLAN VTP STP EtherChannel QoS
WAN: MPLS MPLS VPN MP BGP SD WAN (Cisco Viptela Meraki)
TCP/IP application protocols (HTTP HTTPS FTP SNMP SSL)
Security : IPSec VPN AAA RADIUS/TACACS
Data Center Technologies :
Cisco Catalyst (6500 series etc.)
Cisco Nexus 2K/5K/7K/9K
Server/Storage networking fundamentals.
Wireless : Cisco or Aruba Wireless
Load Balancing : F5 Big IP LTM/GTM
Tools : SolarWinds NNM ORION Netbox
