Job Summary
This position will work with the QA Automation team to provide the following Software Testing Services:
1) Lead the Automation team in using GitHub CoPilot to increase Automation Productivity
2) Experience with Automation testing methodologies including unit testing integration testing regression testing and acceptance testing
3) Experience in Selenium or Playwright and TestNG using Java Language
4) Experience in API testing with REST-assured based frameworks
5) Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team
6) Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data
7) Perform manual testing and data validation The QA Automation team supports the Automation effort of all the Texas Education Agency applications.

Years Required/Preferred Experience
8 Required Testing Complete Web Applications
8 Required Testing all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
8 Required Testing automation experience with Selenium or Playwright and TestNG
4 Required Experience creating automation test frameworks in Selenium/Playwright with Java
4 Required Experience in API testing with REST-assured based frameworks
3 Required Database/SQL Language
2 Required Experience Using Playwright for Automation
1 Required Experience Using GitHub CoPilot for Automation efforts
1 Required Experience creating CI/CD pipelines Jenkins jobs
2 Preferred Experience doing Load Testing use JMeter/WAPT Pro or similar tools
1 Preferred Previous experience with Jira preferred
1 Preferred Previous experience with Zypher Scale preferred
